Yesterday I had to walk over to the high school for play rehearsal. I walked path the busses just like normal, but then I got onto the sidewalk and something cchanged. Maybe it was the warmer-than-usual weather. Maybe it was the quiet. Maybe it was the sudden lack of yellow. But I think there was just something in the air saying, "Spring is here!" and it made me so goddamn happy I can't explain it. The best way I can think of to describe it is iki_teru's "nekkid time" icon. Just this wonderful, painful, joyful feeling making my chest feel tight as I walked along the grass. Maybe "euphoria" is the word, maybe it isn't, but there's a sort of hope in there too. Everything will be good, everything will be fine, and at that moment in time I was invincible.
