Woke up this morning and started off the day with some lovely Kimi to Boku. Gyahhhh I love shows like this. It's so cute. It reminds me of the plainess of Usagi Drop and Hourou Musuko but without the angst + conflicts that already exist. I'm not sure if this is going to continue being in a 日常 style but I suppose it will. Usagi Drop had to deal with some Death/Unwanted issues and well, Hourou Musuko has it's own type of angst and struggles too.
So far, the music in Kimi to Boku has been quite soothing, and the art is very pastel-ish too! It's all light colours and glowing light at the edges of the screen. And all the characters seem to have a lot of potential for development. Plus, they started out as not annoying so that always helps.
The second episode was really sweet though. Finally got to see a little bit from Yuuta's point of view. It's so sweet it nearly gave me cavities. Man, I really like Shun. Actually, I like all of them. Seeing as how there's no focus on ugly things like bullying, Shun doesn't seem to get into much trouble... but I feel like a character like his probably would be smacked about in school (in another type of anime). Oh Shun. The twins are so cute too! And Kaname. Hah. He's like Shinpachi of the group.
I want identical twins. Heck, I want an identical twin.
