I must say . . .WTF mates? I'll start from Christmas EVE
Spent the bulk of xmas eve shopping with mother. We went to the galleria, and then to Central Ave. We took turns driving about the parking lot while the other would be in a store. I got to drive solo, and we got done with shopping that much sooner. Every place was just filled with cars, except the Bronx River Parkway. We took that to and from Yonkers. That night went with family to Aunt's house. It was nice. I got my Polytech letter recently, so relatives asked much about it. I got some clothes and money from them. Also got FFXI wo0t wo0t. . ... . even if I can't play it, it's cool to have.
Christmas Day. . . . ay, what day is this? well it's christmas day!... . .. . .Got much of what I asked for. The sexy-ass vid card, supposedly to make all right with the world of gaming: CS halo, FFXI . . ... . .but I've spent the past three days trying to get this stupid card to work. No homework done, no games played, just trying to get the card working. pretty sad really. Me, father, uncle, jason came to help but to no avail. Only conclusion is that the card is broken. The last remedy to try is to format HDD, or buy and new card and return the defective one. It may take both of those to get everything working right. Uncle came over Chrsitmas day. It was cool seeing him. Don't see him often enough. Spent most of that day trying to fix compy
Dec 26th: Woke up to work on the compy, still with it not working. Jason came over to help, but not able to get it working. We went out at about 5:30 or 6ish. Got Lizz and headed downtown. She was all Morris Park chick like that night. She was expecting to just talk out front, but we ended up in the Village. We walked about some, ate some, and then went to The Port. From there we went home. On the train ride home, I was lighting matches on the train. This guy comes up asking where I'm getting off. He flashes a badge, so I figure not a good idea to lie and say I'll never get off . ..Turns out that you can't light matches on a train. Jason called it. I got a fine. For like $55. No biggie, I get no record, don't have to go to court, nothing happens except I have to pay money. That's no problem. Better they have my money than me waste it on something shiney. Lizz was laughing the whole time at the whole cops thing. grrrr, stupid cops. They were nice about everything though. I didn't get in any sort of trouble. Should have ran . ..lol
Dec 27th: Woke up to another day of working on the comptuer. Still not working. At night went to go see Big Fish. That really was a great movie. I loved it. I love Tim Burton, want to have his babies. It really was a great movie. Carl the giant is the man. Ed Bloom is too, he never got caught.
Dec 28th: Awake now, lying on the floor, with the monitor on the floor, next to this godforsaken computer. Why won't it just work with the new vid card. I want to play FFXI, but I can't until this card gets in this #$ing machine. GRRRRRR
