I really miss California and all of my friends there. I've been applying for jobs like crazy here too. I just applied for a CNA training course at the hospital. Which pretty much means I'll be doing patient care duties and making sure that they have everything that they need. As well as cleaning up after them. I know it's a bottom job, but HEY it's a stepping stone somewhere. If it's going to be paying me 14 to 18 dollars an hour, it should be worth the hassle of taking care of grumpy patients. That and I don't mind doing something like that.
Since I think cleaning out a backed up toilet for a MONTH helped me to overcome gross discussing looking stuff. Seriously, that helped a lot and I'm just going to keep my mind focused on the whole training/school thing for that too. I'll be assisting the nurses, and hey! It'll give me a step closer to one of my goals. Which is to move back eventually, that and a job like that will help me with my car insurance.
I also applied for Buckle here, since they are looking for help. I didn't do that well at the last job interview in Cali, so I'll be better prepared this time knowing the questions of what they'll be asking. I just have to look the part this time and answer with a more straight forward attitude. No more nerves. Gotta keep repeating that to myself.
