...white jerseys in combination with 90 min of rain do have their perks :3
Yes, both cuts will be slashy in nature - anyone surprised still? *chuckles*
First off: nice game. Had honestly fun watching it (especially with all the rain XD). Even when it wasn't all that big a question anymore if our boys would be able to pull it off after the third goal. Still I was happy for Schweini to have scored that fourth one XD But was more thrilled for Poldi to have scored the first two =3
I was kind of nagging a little (really it was not that much...in comparison) when all Schweini managed to do after the second goal, was pat Poldi on the back while walking by, when my Mom, calm as anything, commented from behind me: "Aw, come on, what do you think the poor boy suffers, having to hold back like that?!"
I know she was pulling my leg, but I love my Mom for throwing in stuff like that XD
Slightly scary moment (for me): there was that one incident, late second half of the game when Lichtensteins No. 2 (?) fouled Lahm without really good reason and brought him to fall (kind of ran into him from behind). And then walked off without saying anything like sorry or the like. So that wasn't nice, and I always get the urge to strangle anyone, who gets too close to Lahm anyway, but it wasn't scary yet. The scary part came when they showed how Lahm stood up again, turned towards his opponent, his right fist slowly going up as if he wanted to retaliate, and the look on his face o_o that was the really scary part. It didn't help, when they showed it once more in slow motion. I guess I just never saw him really angry. And I don't know if that was 'really angry' but it sure seemed like it *shudders*.
Very nice moment on the other side for me, was after the game, when they interviewed first Poldi, then Schweini. And seriously, I love the Reporter interviewing Schweini. He refered to a moment in the game that had Schweini and Poldi working together, strongly reminding of what they had managed to pull of while the EM was being held- it looked beautiful, even if no goal resulted from it. Upon which the reporter wanted to know if Schweini had thought in that moment, that he'd like to have that more often, being able to be on the field with Poldi (referring to Bayern) and work with him. Upon which Schweini first stuttered a little then got kind of curt, replying, yeah, sure, but that there are only eleven players on the field and that's the way things are. And it sounded (to me) a little like: " 'scuse me, but I don't want to have that discussion again."
Upon which I could totally imagine him with Poldi, having a conversation going something like:
P: Fuck man, I hate not being able to play.
S: Yeah well, there can only be 11 players on the field. And if Klose and Toni are better-
P: Fuck you, you're supposed to say something like, "Yeah, that's a shame, we work well together." Not kick me while I'm down!
S: The Fuck? Are you my girlfriend now, where I have to guess what you want without telling me?
P: No, just stop being a jerk!
And it going downhill from there.
Maybe with Lahm standing right next to them, quietly debating what to do ^__^;
Oh man, I should get back to writing soon.
So...The Dark Knight.
I'm honestly thinking about going to see it a third time.
I never was a big fan of the comics or the movies and guess I'll never be. But 'Batman Begins' definitely convinced me that it would be worthwhile to pay close attention to a follow up. And when I saw the trailer for The Dark Knight for the first time, there was no question for me wheather I would see it or not. And yes, that short dialoge when Joker crashes Bruces Party:
Joker: A little fight in you. I like that.
Batman: Then you gonna love me.
totally did me in. *snickers* How I love that quote.
Very closely followed by:
Joker: You just couldn't let me go could you? This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object. You truly are incorruptible aren't you? You won't kill me out of some misplaced sense of self-righteousness, and I won't kill you, because you're just too much fun. I think you and I are destined to do this forever.
Batman: You'll be in a padded cell forever.
The Joker: Maybe we can share one.
*happy sigh*
And yes, of course I saw possible pairings upon watching the movie. Three to be exact. I felt really silly at the beginning, until I did a little research on the internet and thankfully encountered quite a few people thinking the same *snicker*
First off: Batman and Joker. Yeah, I know they'd never be a cuddly pairing, but that's what's good about them :]
Second: Batman and Harvey Dent. I mean, excuse me, but all the fanboying?? And the long lingering looks while having your girls with you, thanks for that XD
Third: Now it gets a lttle squicky. Joker and Two-Face. I kid you not. Joker was, as far as I can remember, the only one deliberately changing from one side of Dents' bed to the other, really looking at him without any 'EWW' written in his face. The whole scene was wonderfully done.
All in all, that movie was just SO good. Okay, so Batman was kind of hard to understand sometimes, but that was okay. Thanks to Heath Ledgers' Joker it was a really wild ride, and I think he was the perfect counterpart for Christian Bales' Batman. And it's a shame he's gone, but I am happy that they casted Jonny Depp as his successor. I really think he can pull it off.
And Micheal Caine as Alfred? Just perfect, so much snark.
On a happy happy sidenote: they announced Nana Visitor once more for FedCon *insert long, outdrawn squee here*
And, because it made me laugh, once more a video: Terry Moran, from ABC talking about Barrak Obama and his two dads XDD
