[One sultry summer day, Sarah and I again embarked on a chocolate-chip cookie adventure!]
[the batter from which tempting tasty treats would spring!]
As can be seen, the dough that resulted from our culinary labors was perhaps a tad too watery. Undaunted, we began the shaping process anyway!
[inspiration discovered!]
The model this time around was the album cover of "Zpivat Jako Dest," artist Jiri Korn's Czech-language version of "Singing in the Rain." Sarah obtained this record during a spontaneous and charming visit to the Czech Republic, where she was told by a music store clerk that it "would be good for her." There's Jiri Korn, outstretched arms reproduced in doughy splendor, with blobs of cookie-rain falling from above!
[the results!]
But wait, oh no...! As tragic fate would have it, Jiri Korn-- once a charismatic Eastern European singer-- was morphed by the oppressive oven heat into an abominable, gooey monster. Do the horrors of the kitchen know no bounds...!?
