I can relate to a lot of your resolutions. I make many for myself every year, but I never manage to follow them up. I'm also a bad reader, i haven't read a novel since three years ago when I was in school. After uni I already have enough with the lecture curriculum, and if I read anything outside, it's mostly, like you said, mangas or other magazines.
Oh I love Anthony Bourdain, I can't get enough of his traveling television series :)

About missing LJ, hehe, I wasn't truly away though. While I haven't been posting and commenting, I have been going through my FList every few days or so. But still, not interacting makes me feel out of the loop. I hope to remedy that this year. I just hope LJ doesn't close down!
