unproductive
Too lazy to update lately. Been meaning too, but can't quite push myself to do so. I've been sitting on dolly shoot pics and kitchen cow updates, but instead of doing something productive with them, I've been playing Zelda and New Super Mario Brothers, and chatting about dolls over YM.
What have I been doing lately?
- Went to the Kalye Pinky Second Anniversary party and finally broke in my Jyubako! It's a three-tiered lacquerware bento box which is intended for serving large numbers of people. Or at least I assume it is, considering the sheer amount of food you can pack in it.
- Shooting my dollies! Got a huge shyteload of dollie clothes, including the Ken Outfit I'd Kill For, so I really really have to shoot. Yay!
- Still haven't gotten my Christmas Swap from Dollie Mixtures. I was getting worried about it so I posted a tiny bit asking about it on DM. So I am now feeling guilty because the person who's sending to me (for some reason I can't whittle it down with logical reasoning because the numbers don't add up) said she'll resend me a new package. WHICH WON'T DO because I'll feel so guilty about it. I have weird guilt issues, sue me. I just wish the first package will arrive soon so she won't have to do anything about it anymore. I'd rather not get the package than have her send twice to me.
- I got Makoto! She's got to be my most expensive Pinky to date. All my Pinkies are cheap regular release girls. I did get Makoto cheap, thanks to a KP member based in Japan so when I saw the prices on ebay...Man! She costs close to a second hand Pullip!
- Have I mentioned already that the old bishounenproject.com girls have gotten together to embark on a new project? Under the leadership of fearless leader Myrya, we've started scanlating volume 14 of Gokusen. We've done 4 chapters so far, releasing one every week and hope to stick to that pace. The previous scanlators stopped at v10 ch1 but since we had to get physical copies of the manga volumes 10-13, we decided to start with the volumes we have on hand which are v14-v15. We doubt that this series will ever get licensed so instead, we're taking it upon ourselves to see the series to the end. We need closure, darn it! SHINKUMI FTW! - The new DM challenge has me so excited. Glamour Photography! Yay! I already have a fallback entry in case I'm not able to spend time shooting, but I need to push myself into shooting one. In fact, I want to shoot all four dolls, just for the cheesy fun factor. I hope I can rope J in for this project---this calls for a DIY LED Ring light!
