holiday viewing and blog happiness

i. holiday viewing
Since yesterday was a holiday, John and I decided that we'd go and watch Spiderman 1 and 2, then troop off to ATC to watch 3. But even the best laid plans of mice and men can be ruined, especially when you realize that the second movie you downloaded is actually dubbed in Italian.

So, dropping our plans to watch Spiderman (we're both more of Batman fans anyway), we instead opted to watch the second movie in the Infernal Affairs trilogy. And what a good choice it was. While it was a heavy movie, I have to applaud how well-made it was. Admittedly, I'm not one for action / conspiracy theory films. But Infernal Affairs has totally sucked me in with its excellent characters and great plotting. So yeah, we'll be watching the third movie soon. And not just because Tony Leung is in it. ^_^;;

ii. heroes 20 fangirling
Episode 20 absolutely blew me away. Thankfully, I watched it with John, otherwise, I would've gone nuts with watching it and not being able to rant / rave with someone. Set five years into the future, Heroes 20 shows us the future versions of our Heroes set in a timeline where they were not able to stop New York from blowing up.

If you're the type of person who lets Heroes episodes pile up before watching them straight, grab episode 20 and watch 'til then. I assure you, it's a satisfying, mind-blowing ride.

iii. yes yes, enough with the pimping already
But I am exceptionally proud of the website and would like to shout out to the world that:

Kitchen Cow Lives!

I feel exceptionally happy because I think it exceeded my expectations and I think it looks very purty. Plus, the fact that I knew nothing about wordpress and close to nothing about css when I first embarked on this project leaves me even giddier.

And if you love me, clicking the links would be a nice way to show your love.
