My day, seen through little eyes.
When I first saw Julls chronicle her day in photos, I knew I wanted to do the same thing myself. The rules were, if I recall correctly, to take a photo for each hour of your day. But time constraints, forgetfulness, and a broken camera didn't let me do so.
This time however, with Natsume at my side, I decided to give it a go. Too bad Shi-chan found out about it and decided to make it a Kao Onee-chan and me pictorial instead. Oh well. I'll give her center stage now.
06:16 am. Nee-chan isn't awake yet even though her alarm clock went off half an hour ago. Much as I'd want to let her sleep in, I have to wake her up already. That's her, sleeping behind me. Now let's see how I can wake her up... *grabs a thick book from the shelf*
6:48 am. Grumpy she may be, but when it comes to preparing a bento, she's all energized and happy. She's making a couple of heart-shaped sandwiches. It's hard work helping her when you're only 5 inches tall.
7:24 am. Here's her completed bento, all ready for a photoshoot. Nee-chan keeps a blog featuring her bentos. Here's the entry for this particular one.
8:52 am. We're taking public transport today. Here's my view of one of the office buildings we passed.
9:07 am. One of the first things Nee-chan does is turn her computer on, then get a cup of coffee. I wanted to be helpful so I grabbed her mug to get her some. By the time I was able to drag it from storage, her computer was open and I was shocked to see Rin-chan's picture on her desktop! NO FAIR! How come Rin-chan always gets the spotlight?
10:19 am. Kao Nee-chan shooed me away so she could work. That time, she was working on some headlines for a set of merchandising materials for one of their food clients.
10:20 am. I, on the other hand, went off to explore the rest of her desk. I met a couple of cute guys too. *blush and swoon* They introduced themselves as Roy and Edward. I think Ed's really really handsome but Roy's pretty hot too.
11:43 am. Nee-chan was still working on her headlines, and there's only so much space I can explore. So I grab a few sheets of paper and tried origami!
12:10 pm. And now we're off to lunch. Finally, we can eat that lovely bento.
One of Nee-chan's work colleagues had a cake! She was so nice and let me have a bite.
Mmmm! Cake that's bigger than me!
1:08 pm. We were done eating but some of Nee-chan's work colleagues weren't yet. I took the time to interview them so I can find out what it was like to be an Advertising Account Executive.
1:11 pm. I just realized how boring it is to join Nee-chan at work. She's pretty busy with her writing so she doesn't have time to show me around. This time, she's working on a script. I thought watching the clock would make it go faster but no, it doesn't. :(
3:17 pm. Now, she's reviewing some of the client's existing materials, still for the script she's still writing. This time, it's real estate.
4:54 pm. After writing, Nee-chan printed out her script for clearing with her Creative Director. Their printer at work is much different from the one we have here at home. This one is so scary!
5:53 pm. Nee-chan gets out at 6 but I wanted to leave already. I figured I could help her out by packing her bag.
6:20 pm. She finally said she's done for the day! So you can imagine how quickly I rushed to shut down her Mac.
6:22 pm. Bye bye Ed! Bye Bye Roy! I'll come visit again someday!
6:43 pm. We're commuting home again since we didn't want to wait for Nee-chan's mom. I had to hide in her paper bag so I wouldn't have to pay extra fare. Heehee. We're evil!
7:58 pm. First thing Nee-chan does when she gets home is change clothes. Then open the computer. So I do the same. Her home computer's on switch it larger than my head!
8:26 pm. After surfing a bit, she switches her torrent downloads on before she goes puttering around the house. Aaaack! The flash!
9:42 pm. She wanted something light to eat so she set out more Smoked Tanigue, bread, celery sticks and blue cheese dip.
9:56 pm. We figured we wanted to watch Heroes in bed so Rin-chan and I waited for Kao Nee-chan in bed while she burned the latest Heroes episode on CD.
9:59 pm. Boo! It's Claire's dad. We hate him. T_T
10: 49 pm. After Heroes, we moved to the computer to watch Gakuen Alice. It's an .mkv file so we couldn't watch it on the DVD player.
12:25 am. We're getting ready for bed! Nee-chan decided she wanted to read a bit first though. I feel asleep before she did so this was the last pic we took.
