Project Speedway: Velocity Redesigned
Somehow it seems quite surreal: a few months of hard work will culminate and end tomorrow. It's hard and potentially time-consuming (sorry, I'm just too lazy) to list all the work/challenges/hardships we have gone through, but I guess it was really fun and hopefully will all be worth it.
Yesterday, emotions threatened to overspill again, and it was much harder to keep them in check and force myself to focus on Bike Hike. I guess I'm really quite sick and tired of pushing all my emotions to one corner of my brain and focus on what's happening, but I guess all of us need to do this when more pressing matters arise. After all, it really is not good to wallow in one's grief ><". Apoolgies to Fern, Debbie and Andy.
On a happier/more cheerful note, I really had fun staying back till 11:30pm at Tiong Bahru CC with most of the rest of the batch (and alex working our asses off for Bike Hike (call us last minute if you will, but every event is like that), with our super efficient assembly lines and laming around listening to the emcees' script. XD
Today, Bike Hike will start, and tomorrow, it will end. I hope that nothing bad happens in between, and that we will be able to have a successful Bike Hike, that we can give the participants a Bike Hike that they enjoy, that we will be satisfied with ourselves at the end of the day (the next day, rather).
