Wednesday morning
I accepted delivery of a gigantic package this morning around 7am -- I paid $100 extra for delivery within a particular window that wouldn't disrupt the rest of my day. It's an outdoor lean-to storage shed for some of T's camping stuff.
The delivery window was 6am-10am, so I got out of bed at 5:30am to have breakfast. I could've gone on a walk after the delivery, but it's below freezing and I've done a lot of walking, hiking, and running over the past three days, so I'm thinking I'll give my legs (and knee) a rest today.
Except, I think I'm going to lift weights on my lunch break today. Then I'll commute tomorrow.
T flies back from Seattle today, I'm planning to pick him up from the airport, and then maybe cook dinner for us, we'll see how the timing works and whether we're hungry.
Workwise looks like a quiet day today, no meetings on the calendar so far. I've been asking for more work each week since wrapping up the final supervisory tasks, and I've been receiving some new assignments, but I'm not feeling "full" yet. I think it will be more fun to have a lot of cases than it was to have a lot of supervising. Will it be so fun that I stop fantasizing about retirement? Just in time for Trump to fire me? ;-)
B and I are both using the group chat again, that's newsworthy.
