Friday morning -- day two of four-day staycation!
I fell asleep early yesterday, again sleeping more than had been my normal as a supervisor :-)
Just checked work emails and saw nothing needing my attention.
I expect to do nothing around the house today, like yesterday. I can play with toys and eat leftover pizza. I think I have enough alcohol here for the day.
I'll head to the condo tomorrow to clean it, may or may not spend the night there.
T returns on Sunday, not sure for how long. I think he's in the process of finding a new job (at least a temporary one) in the DC area but I'm not sure anything has been announced officially yet, so he'll have at least one more trip back up to CT and the Island.
Then K visits on Tuesday, but we haven't scheduled time together yet. He'll be here for the three-day weekend.
Getting my car serviced on Wednesday.

As of today, voters nationwide have returned a total of 64,475,269 advance ballots in the 2024 general election.

And ... I opened a Coinbase account and now own $100 in crypto assets. Well, did own $100 in crypto assets. Then I transferred $50 to Kalshi so I could legally bet on Trump winning at 58%. For the first time ever, I've made a money bet on an election. If he wins, I'll win $36 on my $50 bet. I'll treat myself to a delivery meal if he wins LOL.
My remaining $50 are in USDC. And I have $3 in Bitcoin that was my gift for joining Coinbase. USDC is a so-called "stablecoin" that is managed to a value of one US Dollar. Well, only $45.84 in USDC after the deposit and transfer fees. Net, I'm out $1.16 for my efforts.
So, 2024 is when I first started using LLM AI (including installing one of my own on my laptop), and first bought crypto, and first made a bet on an election.
