The dot.com bubble crashed from 2000-2003, the AI bubble crashed from 2025-2028, and now we're inside the late Tessiron bubble, in 2049, but it hasn't crashed yet.
But despite the dot.com bubble, the Internet did change everything. And despite the AI bubble, artificial intelligence did change everything. And now, Tessirons are changing everything ... except ... now we know that nothing changes anything.
At first it was a quiet science headline, new subatomic particle discovered by the Future Circular Collider, after it finally went online,
The name "Tessiron" likely evokes associations with "tessera," the small pieces used in mosaics, reflecting the idea that these particles are individual components reflecting the whole.
Unlike the Higgs boson, Tessirons were not expected, they didn't confirm the standard model, they blew it apart.
And then Dr. Aemelia Frag figured it out, winning the 2045 Nobel Prize for Physics, that we could use Tessirons to communicate with a 5th dimension. And, so had other civilizations, across spacetime, we suddenly had access to whatever any of them had uploaded to the TNZ, whenever they had uploaded it, past, present, future,
Every government and corporation pointed their AI training algorithms upon this gigantic intergalactic intertemporal database, finding exciting scientific and engineering advances, but also ...
We found our own future. And then we turned into Time Zombies. As had every civilization that discovered Tessirons. We cannot stop ourselves. We even know the Tessiron bubble will crash next year, but we cannot stop ourselves from buying the Time Bandit Seven stocks:
Chrono
Tempus
Eon
Epoch
Continuum
Para
Infinity
And we all know that the lack of barriers to entry will result in a crash next year, but we can't stop ourselves.
It wasn't as obvious that we lacked free will until we could see the future. Now we all feel like bystanders within our own bodies.
2049,
tessirons,
nanopomo,
free will
