sweaty but tolerable
Dew point in the mid-sixties is tolerable when the sun isn't out. I traveled 3.4 miles and felt good about it. Now I've cooled off and will check work emails, shower, grab supplies, and then play with toys for a while. Perhaps hot tub or binge TV later. I have a leftover meal in the fridge. Day Off!

My doc wants me to stop taking the gout medicine (Allopurinol). She thinks the main cause of my gout was my previous blood pressure medicine, whereas the new blood pressure medicine reduces both uric acid levels and blood pressure. Her concern is that my liver enzymes doubled after taking the gout medicine. But, this data point is confounded because I'd also started taking a statin, and a second gout medicine that I've already since stopped. She wants me to stop the remaining gout medication to see if it was the cause of the liver enzyme spike. She thinks I can always restart the gout medication if the gout returns -- but she's not the one who was suffering from the disabling knee pain!!!!!
Well ... I will reluctantly stop taking the medicine ... ... I really don't want that knee pain to come back, but she may be right that my previous blood pressure medication was the true problem. I'm not peeing as much with the new medicine, at least.
I feel like a chemistry experiment.

The polls since the debate, which I still haven't watched, are showing a slight uptick for Harris, and most viewers thought she "won" the debate. Perhaps the one item getting the most news coverage is when Trump accused immigrants of eating other people's pets. WTF! Harris apparently ducked some questions and made some exaggerated claims of her own, but she didn't do anything as awful as accusing immigrants of eating other people's pets. For fucks sake.
But, my vote doesn't matter in Maryland, I'm still on the Jill Stein bus. And Harris is raising plenty of cash, she doesn't need any from me. Somebody has to take a stand against everlasting fossil fuel expansion.
