Bug's Presidential vote history
I turned 18 in 1985, while Ronald Reagan was serving his second term as President. I lived in Virginia from 1980-2001. I lived in DC from 2001-2004. I've lived in Maryland since 2005.
In 1988 I voted for Dukakis (D).
In 1992 I voted for Clinton (D).
In 1996 I voted for Clinton (D) again, and I was a Clinton Alternate Delegate to the Virginia Democratic Convention. This was Peak Politics for Bug, also the year I almost ran for Congress (as a D).
In 2000 I voted for Gore (D), although I wanted to vote for Nader (G), but I felt Virginia was a swing state so I suppressed my urge.
In 2004 I voted for Badnarik (L) (the only time I voted in DC).
In 2008 I voted for Obama (D).
In 2012 I voted for Stein (G).
In 2016 I voted for Stein (G).
In 2020 I voted for Hawkins (G).
In 2024 I plan to vote for Stein (G). So I've been voting Green for President consistently for 12 years now.
