Portland Sunday
Spent yesterday afternoon outside with K and Jay, mostly at a beer/arts/music festival, mostly in the shade. Then we took a break before heading to K's 50th birthday party at a wine bar, which was fun :-) I was so social!
After that I headed back to the hotel and slept, while many of the partiers went to their next venue.
Woke up fine this morning, snacked on some leftover food from yesterday -- my room has both fridge and microwave. I'm very happy with the hotel room, I'll consider staying here again during future visits.
K just texted us, I'm surprised he's up already. But it sounds like Jay and I are on our own for breakfast, which is fine, I just offered to meet Jay somewhere at 10am. K has extended family visiting also, so he cannot focus only on his DC visitors.
I probably walked at least 6 miles yesterday. And my face shows that I got some sun.
My flight home is early afternoon tomorrow, so I won't need to set an alarm or rush to get out of here. Might even be able to meet K for breakfast, but we'll see how late we stay out tonight.
