“Nothing fundamentally changed about this election last night,” said Quentin Fulks, Mr. Biden’s deputy campaign manager.
Well, if you already believed that Biden was toast as I did, then nothing fundamentally changed as a result of the debate. He went from 95% toast to 100% toast. But for many people who watched the debate, we did change our opinions from worrying about whether Biden could possibly pull off another win against Trump, to realizing that Biden is no longer qualified to be President of the United States.
It's not just that he had an "off" night. He should resign. This man should not be in charge of our nuclear weapons.
Whereas before I was thinking of Jill Stein as a sort of protest vote in a safe Biden state, now I'm thinking Jill Stein might actually be the most qualified candidate running for President.
If I were on the paid Biden campaign staff I'd resign.
It will be interesting to see how the polls change this week, though. When given a choice between two major party candidates who are both clearly unqualified, which do voters pick? Look to your other options, I say.
"We all thought it was Trump's inability to admit defeat that could wreck our democracy, but it looks like it will now be Biden’s inability to admit defeat that will be the fatal blow."
