I left the office two hours early, but I need to make up the time tonight after I rest a bit and then have dinner. I have personnel stuff that I need to concentrate upon, which is difficult to do with people dropping in at the office like they were today. And I wanted to let the cats out early, and I wanted to avoid the worst of rush hour.
The sun is getting brighter, it's that time of the year when the days get longer most quickly. And now with Daylight Savings Time, the sun will set later, after 7pm.
Tomorrow around this time I should be picking up T from IAD, he's starting his journey home from ANZ in a few hours. I will likely start my work day early tomorrow to offset leaving to get him, and taking a midday run break. I want to run Tu/Th/Sa this week, with one of those being 4 miles. Maybe tomorrow will be the 4?
Probably commuting again on Thursday, which will mean getting up extra early to run before heading to the office. Like I used to do all the time back before the pandemic. And probably lifting weights on Wednesday afternoon during my class.
Depending on what T is up to this weekend, I might head downtown for a night to self at K's condo on Saturday. Or I might hang out with T all weekend, as he'll only be here for six nights. But it would be OK if of those six nights we spent at least one apart. He might just want to sleep in an empty house for one night, or have a friend over without me here.
OK, let me figure out which soup from the cupboard I want before I sit down to work for a couple hours. Then early to bed and early to rise for T's homecoming day.
