which new charity on Jan 1?
I'm torn between the one that helps elect pro-choice women, and the one that helps Palestinian refugees, what if I did both?
There are thoughts pulling for/against both. It seems the real problem in getting aid to Palestinians right now is the war, not a lack of funds. And, the organization that helps elect pro-choice women is mainly focused on Democrats, while I'm a Green. But I contain multitudes.
I've sworn to only give political candidate donations to women. And abortion is an essential tool for slowing our insane global population growth. I offset more greenhouse gases via my abortion donations than any other.
I'm trying to ramp up the giving slowly, over the duration of the year, with a goal of 20% by 31 Dec 2024, but, I get off on giving. I'm not a "sacrificial" giver, I get off on it. I would totally be a finsub for the right findom LOL.
