Merry Christmas in Kemp Mill!
We each stayed in bed until around 8am, then I got up and made some fresh whipped cream to go on some of T's apple cranberry pie (yes, I'm proud of visiting FIVE grocery stores until I found ONE that had fresh cranberries LOL). But before we dug into the pie, I made some French 75 cocktails :-)
After the pie and on our second round of cocktails, we removed to the living room to open presents. We each gave the other four presents, and they were all from the lists of gifts we'd asked for. I wanted absolutely utilitarian stuff like new bedding and sweatpants, which T chose wisely. T wanted gadgets, a new coat, and more LEGO.
We gave the cats some whipped cream for their Christmas.
And now we're chillin'. At some point I'll transition to hard core study mode, then I'll probably take the final exam tomorrow. I have a massage tomorrow evening. I might take some time off this week and head to the condo. Next social thing on the calendar is the Bug Family Christmas on Saturday. I might spend the rest of the long weekend at the condo if T and B are hanging out for NYE.
Then, I owe Moose and Lawyer David a film outing, that I had to cancel when I had COVID. B and I are going dancing on Friday, Jan 5. Kent may have a Game Day on Sunday, Jan 7. Then K visits, and MAL weekend.
Later today I'll either go running or go on a long walk, either way 3 miles. I'll target Wednesday for resuming weight lifting. But may be taking time off and heading to the condo, so, we'll see.
