Wednesday evening

Was busy all all all day at the office, not even time for lunch, not even time for a walk break.

But now I'm home and I stuffed my face. I did eat during the day, just not a real lunch, stuff from a vending machine in the basement.

One more telework day and then I have Friday off.

Should have dew point of 64 for tomorrow morning's long run (6 miles!). That's down about 10 from yesterday morning's dew point. Then I'm hoping to play with toys tomorrow evening, since I have Friday off and will be relaxing on a train all afternoon. Reading a book and/or playing video games and/or napping.

Not sure how I'll squeeze in running next week ... I could do Monday morning and Friday morning but there will be no time before commuting on Tu-We-Th because I have to get there so fucking early for the training each day. "No later than 8:10am" on Tuesday, they said today. To make allowances for potential Metro delays that means leaving the house at 6:55am. Which means getting out of bed at 5:30am even without running. 5am if I want to stretch. I will probably set an alarm to ensure waking, and that will probably make it more difficult for me to fall asleep from worrying about getting enough sleep and waking up in time.

I'm not looking forward to the training, but only because it is live, downtown, and so early in the morning. The content might be useful. They're just trying to stuff too much into it. If T were here, instead of my traveling up to see him this weekend, I'd stay at the condo Tu-We nights to save time on commuting, but I don't want to leave the cats/plants/house alone both Fr-Sa and Tu-We, and I don't have time to preposition my supplies at the condo over the weekend.

I predicted back when I told T I didn't want to visit him this weekend that it would make me feel too squished, but then he talked me into visiting him anyway, so yeah, now I feel too squished. But the trip itself will probably be nice once I'm on the train.

I want to park at the Amtrak station instead of depending on Lyft both ways, so ... I just investigated that ... gonna park at the BWI Amtrak station. Packing should be pretty simple for two nights with no toys and no work clothes and no restrictions like you have with airplane carryons.

OK, enough planning Bug.
