I mean, the entire point of the 19th Century
was that we (US citizens) didn't have to worry about European wars, or Asian wars, and then, during the 20th Century, we now had to worry about these things, we became the global power, sending our young boys all over the planet to die,
was it all the result of the income tax?
during the 19th Century, the two major parties were basically the Northern Libertarian Party, and the Southern Slavery Party,
fighting over which territories would become states, and how that would affect the Senate balance on major issues,
yeah, create this state with zero people (in 18xx), it will have two Senators, and,
the history of this country does not fill me with optimism for our future,
