0.72% of us voted Green for Governor -- 5th of 5 candidates on the ballot (statewide)
Obvi my dearest political beliefs are not trending ;-)
but Greens received 1.85% in my local (state) senate race, and 2.95% in my local (county) council race

News stories this morning are about "the red wave that wasn't" with betting markets saying Democrats picked up a seat (PA) in the Senate for 51-49, but Republicans are still in the lead for a smallish House majority of 227/208.
Which charities get my $1000?
crystal balls don't always work!
Exit polls say abortion was a significant factor in the election, with more than a quarter of voters listing it as a top issue -- so abortion ended up motivating more voters than I expected, which may have saved the Senate for Democrats, we'll see -- it hinges on NV and a probable runoff in GA

And marijuana has been legalized in Maryland :-)
