What a lot of people might view as societal controls, could instead be emergent behaviors from within a multidimensionally-complex chaotic network -- I continue to believe that nobody is actually in charge, and that causation travels both ways along the time axis -- we each have way less control than we think, and so does everybody else,

As an amateur statistician, I've studied what randomness is within a dataset, and the extent to which so much of reality is random, and the statistical constructs that overexplain reality, imprecisely,

most people way overestimate how controllable situations are, how explainable situations are,

Science only operates within tightly-controlled spaces, ditto for manufacturing, for engineering, you must limit the variables and the variance of these variables, to produce an effect that works --

the rest of everything is not even loosely controlled,

and our explanations cling too tightly to the time & place,

but we need this, this explanation, our story, our particularity, our time & place,

our ability to escape all the prescriptions of Science, depend on the randomness of our time & place,

the remainder, the unexplained variance,

our souls
