in search of larger Band-Aids
Yeah, we were all up at 4am because they2 have a 5:45am train ... ... don't ask me why they2 schedule these so early! I drive them because they'd wake me anyway, with all the lights on and commotion. I got them to the station 20 minutes early, they were stressed about it the entire way even though there's no traffic at 5am.
My MPX swollen spot is way bigger than the initial Band-Aid now, so I pulled it off, measured the spot, 4cm in diameter. I asked T if he's got larger Band-Aids somewhere, he suggested our First Aid Kit, so, yup, after I shower I'll put on the big ass Band-Aid. Apparently not EVERYBODY gets the intradermal side effects this bad, but according to that one study a significant chunk of people do. The nurse had said I can use ice if it drives me nuts, but I'm not supposed to use any medicine for it while the antibodies crank up.
I'm trying to tidy up the house, set up the cats for the weekend, and pack for the condo. I'll drive to the condo and drop off stuff before heading to the office. I'll be sorely tempted to take a half-day off after I sign payroll, and probably will if no work emergency pops up.
