Part of me feels I'm teaching them how to have a proper relationship with each other, as I observe, from the side. Because neither of them have ever had a proper relationship before (even with me) (I observe) (and have I ever had a proper relationship? who am I to teach?)

I'm the one who never leaves, and that's what I teach people, I guess, how to never leave.

Because where would we go? We're still here.
