After Donutmas finally actually happened we both fell back asleep (I had two donuts and a bagel). Upon re-waking, T suggested I go to the condo, he's feeling well enough to take care of himself, and there's enough food in the fridge to get him through the day.
I'm still fine, except for what I'd call a hypersensitivity to any bodily status that could possibly be exaggerated into experiencing Bug's First COVID Symptom.
So, I'll have something for lunch, go on a long walk, and then drive to the condo for a Night to Self. I'll need to fill up the gas tank on the way as I'm not riding Metro while potentially throwing off virus particles.
But good sign that T feels like he doesn't need me cooking for him from the next-door isolation chamber today. He may still feel miserable but he's definitely improving as compared to Tuesday/Wednesday.
I cannot believe they're talking about sending health care workers back on the job after only five days of COVID symptoms -- that would've meant sending T back on the job today and that's ridiculous. We should have a national crash program for training nursing aides, why is this not a thing?
