the cause and effect of terrorism

Bombs exploding at an airport gate, killing US soldiers and over a hundred Afghanis.

The people who did this, had their reasons. They were expecting to be a cause, to an effect.

The important thing for the rest of us to think about, is whether we are playing this game while blindfolded.

Are we reacting just like the terrorists wanted us to react? They provoke us. We react. Didn't they know we'd react? Weren't they counting on us reacting?

The thing about 9/11 that US citizens don't understand is:

They did this to provoke us, to cause a particular effect.

Can we step aside from our emotions, and our reflexes, to look at the entire board on which this game is played.

-----

And beyond that -- somebody provoked those terrorists, somebody provided the cause, that led to the effect of a suicide bomber killing a hundred people. Or a group of suicide pilots killing 3,000 people.

We react to these terrorist attacks too simple-mindedly.

Reminds me of my first semester in college, 1985, in my first semester writing class, we debated "what is terrorism, what are terrorists trying to achieve?"

So when 9/11 happened, I'd already thought about this shit, and then I watched my country go insane, which is exactly what the terrorists wanted you to do.

Just the word, "terrorism", there's a game they're playing, and if you don't understand the rules, you're a fuckin' pawn.

nobody writes like this, spin, war war is stupid, terrorism
