I already posted a lot today, this one might come tomorrow, but I've been having online discussions with baby gay men about their ageism, and I'm starting to form a grand theory about it all.
But probably the most important takeaway for me, and for anybody else who is "older" ...
Each person gets to decide for herself whether she wants to engage in sex, regardless of her age. There is no such thing as a "creepy" old person, or a "dirty" old person. Your age is irrelevant as to whether you're creepy ;-)
If you want to be a sexual being at age 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, or 100, that's up to you. Don't let any 20-year-old assholes convince you otherwise. They're either suffering from being taught that sex is bad, or they're too into themselves to realize that they'll get older someday, and die, like everybody else.
At whatever age, you don't have the right to have sex with whomever you want, they have to consent. And most people, at whatever age, will never consent to have sex with you.
But otherwise, go forth and be sexy, look for consensual partners, and have fun. It's your body, have fun with it if you want to. Or don't, if you don't want to.
