"Fact checking everything in my social media feeds is exhausting," I wrote back last November 22nd, after the surprise Trump victory.
So I quit Facebook and brought Twitter below 100 follows. And my Tumblr doesn't even get into facts, except I think some of those pictures of huge cocks I see are photoshopped.

I'm really glad the framework of our Constitution is holding right now. Without that framework I fear Trump would've become a real strongman. It isn't so much the Deep State, as the founding & orienting documents that have survived all manner of stressors, we are still on our First Republic, when so many other countries have convulsed into something else.
Well, England.
But at times these founding documents have really held us back from dreamed-of progress. It's all a trade-off. Did the Constitutionalists get the message? Will they do something about the frustrations? Or will we fall into a cycle of populist Tribunes who cannot fix anything.
