Still don't miss Facebook at all, and feeling like I've been more social since giving up Facebook -- I mean social in real life -- than I'd been in years. I'm to the point of having to put off answering social invitations, or just flat turning them down. Too busy ( Read more... )

Social media can prevent you from doing things in many ways.
You realize that if you're once stuck with a thing to do that runs outside social media. It already is the case if you're deeply drown in a video game for example and you more care about what's happening in this than what's happening on your social media accounts. The crap even distracts you from continuously following that 'cause your full attention span can only go to one thing.
