Arashi 5x20: Record of Memories
I saw Record of Memories in theaters today with 2 of my sisters. No spoilers, just some thoughts.
As soon as the Arashi members rose to meet the dome audience and showed up on screen, I cried. Knowing they are currently on hiatus, a wave of nostalgia, and the re-acknowledgement that yes I love them and these five members can bring me so much happiness with their brightness and energy. I thought the tears would persist but by the time they got around to greeting the audience, I was all smiles and that happiness persisted to the end and now. My sister told me how she felt sad, but I don't at all. In fact, watching Record of Memories just cemented the happy feelings and strength that I get from Arashi. I didn't expect it but I do love knowing that my idols have and continue to affect me positively.
