My DSL modem died last week without warning or explanation; I currently have no internet access from home. My front tire picked up a nail on College Station Road last week; I am restricted to pedestrian transportation to and from work and school. I could, with some ease, remove both of these obstacles, and thus return to what was my normal life.

Now, this looks like the beginning of (yet another) rant on why Alex's life sucks. You are wrong (again).

Life without my car and my internet connection rocks, and neither will be fixed for at least another week. Being forced to ride my bike to work will prevent an anticipated hemorrage from sitting in traffic linked to the UGA/TN game, and being WWW-handicapped is keeping me focused on what could turn out to be a decent writing sample. Health and philosophical euphoria: thanks, Bad Luck!

But seriously; I will not fix these until after the UGA/TN game this weekend. And you should try removing them from your life temporarily, too.

(If you need a weighter reason why, then read the relevant passages from Being and Time. Since I assume you're not that masochistic, I guess my anecdotal evidence will have to suffice for the time being.)

Bye!
