GREETINGS
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG TTTTTTTTTTTTTIIIIIIIIIIIMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEE NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO PPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTT
Alright, so how has everyone been? How is the TT business going along? Drinking while writing? Being awesome all around?
Well, for me, I've been steady modding the
Round Robin. It is shaping up quite handsomely! Like I'm delighted by how much I like it. I mean, I knew I would (b/c it's my BABY), but hot damn if it isn't the coolest thing I've ever participated in.
OK, so remember when I posted my resolutions for 2012? Mostly none of it is happening. I wrote that I wanted to move out by last month, but damn it all to hell if I didn't get a job until last week! Which is cause to celebrate anyhow so there. Drinks on you on me on us. I work at Macy's. It's beuno--my boss is a nutter but I lovez her.
As far as the PC goes, that is still a WIP. I had to see a hematologist. That was ok. Hopefully, but the time I'm approved (talking on Faith), I'll have accrued enough ca$h to lived modesty instead of being broke as fuck wherever they send me to.
My computer crash and I lost everything....AGAIN. Mostly, I lost a document of junk (but important junk), the WIPs from that awesome meme post from several months ago, and a short story that I started (yes, another one).
Speaking of short stories, I'VE BEEN READING REAL BOOKS.
a list of books that i've read
An Edible Woman by Margaret Atwood (I'd like to discuss this one?)
The Tent by Margaret Atwood (An Invocation for Mom tore me up something awful)
Siddharrtha by Herman Hesse
One Hundred Years of Solitude (my namesake 'soledad' and I've never wanted to speak Spanish until I finished this book)
Pygmalion by Bernard Shaw
The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams
Frankenstein by Mary Shelley
[a bit of] Farewell to Arms by Earnest Hemingway
and maybe some others that escape my assailable memory. Right now, I am reading The Metamorphosis and it is blimey hilarious. ETA: A Portrait of an Artist as A Young Man by James Joyce and it is confusing. I've constructed a very fancy list of books I'm going to read. It's color coding complete with lackluster titles. In the mean time, my goals remain consistent: get out of dodge, get my eyebrows threaded (they're atrocious), and get ready for grad school (I've selected this superb school in The Philippines. I'm very anxious about it XD).
Not that I know for sure, but I shall definitely post again this month. My time away from LJ was dull but necessary and now tis time for my return.
ETA: I've been watching Breaking Bad and I love it.
Aloha
