Things have been interesting lately. School is going. Art is going great!!! I’m really excited about the things I’m leaning. I get to paint with oils. It makes me feel like a real artist. Also I’m in a ceramics class. I forgot how much I love pottery.
The Snake The Cross The Crown-is seriously the best band I’ve ever seen live. It made me cry. They were so passionate about the music that they were making. They were true artist. I was speechless, and jealous. I wish my art could have that kind of effect on people. AMAZING!!!
“Writing a memorable and critically acclaimed song must be hard; now imagine if you just wrote an entire album, some ten songs, worth of perfection. That’s The Snake The Cross The Crown’s dilemma and I’m sure they welcome it with open arms. Heading in the direction of Thom Yorke and Radiohead, which is a comparison that many undeserving bands get but in this case is a musical bull’s eye, “Mander Salis” is at once a beautiful art piece and at length a museum filled with notable melodies. Decisively non-prurient, the band claims that their name is due to a discrete birthmark on one of the band members. Well regardless of the intrigue in the name what most people will be focused on is the album’s songs. And it will keep your focus, enhancing it a bit and delving near to your heart within mere minutes. Fretted with melodically indie rockers that are almost uncouth in their genius, “Mander Salis” is this year’s greatest find for the disillusioned music fan but that’s not to say you have to be wrought with inner fury or be utterly jaded in order to appreciate-indeed the album contains hooks that catch passion effortlessly. Perfection never before sounded this good.”
