I could give you a whole list of supposed insomnia cures... not that any of them ever work.

You should rest. Even if it's not sleeping, it'll be less stressful.

Mmm, you'll understand if I'm more interested in things that do work, yes?

But then I'd just lie there, thinking and not doing. If I wanted to do that, I'd have studied philosophy!

I'm sure there are ways you could distract yourself. It's no good running an experiment you can't concentrate on anyway, right?
