as an organizer for acorn i'm well aware of the faults within the organization. but the battles we win for lower income families far outweigh the minor turmoil we sometimes create.
and the bit about the community reinvestment act is rubbish. its pay day loan/subprime lending institutions and greedy investors that have screwed the economy. right now we are actually fighting to cut down on the amount of those institutions as they screw the people who patronize them.
