It's a shot in the dark, but it's worth asking.
Does anyone by chance happen to know a lawyer who deals with domestic violence/abuse cases and also works on a sliding scale? I'm in Overland Park, KS.
I have the Kansas Legal Services 800 number, but right now I really can't afford wasting my cell phone minutes sitting on hold in hopes that I'll get to talk with someone.
