Does anyone have any recommendations on places to purchase a decent quality laminate wood flooring? How about a company or a person to install it? I have considered checking out Lowes or Home Depot but maybe there is a less expensive place around town that somebody knows about. I'd even pay more if it meant good customer service and an installer who isn't looking to rush through it. I have about 1000 square feet to replace. The people who installed it originally did not put down a subfloor and the floor is very uneven and sometimes painful where it pinches my feet so I want to fix it myself since my apartment management says the only thing they can do is replace it with vinyl.
