- Kansas City Museum and Planetarium - housed in an old mansion, old fashioned soda fountain in basement. (

The planetarium is now called the "Storytarium" and shows short films about the life of the Long Family (the family that owned Corinthian hall) and the history of Kansas City.
The gift shop is located in Hammer Hall, a building on property near the Storytarium. There are signs everywhere directing you towards the gift shop where you can read books about the history of Kansas City, as well as purchase trinkets, gifts, books, and memorabilia.
Around Christmas time, the Fairy Princess comes to the Kansas City Museum, so be sure to bring your children to that as well!
