Inspired by Roland, I'd like to put together a calendar of free or nearly free things to do in the city this summer.
I am poor and the poor deserve to have fun, too!
PLEASE!!! If you know of an activity that is free or nearly free to do in or around Kansas City between now and mid September, post it here in the comments. Please let us know what the event is, the date and time if you know it, and whether or not the activity/even is family friendly (its okay to post those that aren't but we should let people know). Also, include a link to the website if you can. Festivals, concerts, readings, plays, etc...
