Hi, my name is Seevan. I'm 25 and have lived in Kansas all my life, except for the years I spent going to college in Florida. I have been accepted to graduate school at UMKC and it makes sense to move to Missouri to start gaining in-state tuition. I'm embarrassed to say that I really don't know much about the Plaza/Midtown/Downtown areas, being a ( Read more... )

Downtown tax credit stuff is nice but you're not SUPPOSED to go to school full time while living in the unit unless I think one person in the household isn't full time....i think, don't quote me. In any case, you have to meet income guidelines (can't make over like 28k and some change for a single person)

I like living downtown...walk most places...I like living in a multi family building, I feel pretty safe here. I am also a small girl myself and was worried about the area but it isn't TERRIBLE...Austin is better, but it isn't TOO bad!

Oh I thought you didn't like it there? I'm supposed to move to QH Towers but depending on certain things, I either can't move at all, or I might move to a loft downtown. So I wanted to hear your thoughts on the lofts there.

It isn't terrible. I really like my apartment but a lot of the people in the building are sketchy. There are a handful of decent people. It's a decent mixture of older folks and younger people so there's a chance you'll have quiet neighbors. It's possible that I'm just lucky and my neighbors have been quiet, but I have been here for like a year and a a little bit and have yet to be annoyed by noisy next door neighbor neighbors. Sometimes people throw up around the building... that pisses me off, but what do you do.... I think there are always people who can't hold their alcohol that come over ( ... )
