Essentially, my back piece (it covers most of the right side of my back) is a variation of those blue chicory flowers that grow along the side of the road in the summertime, coupled with some architectural style elements (think swirls found on the Taj Mahal), and some thorns thrown in to surround an existing coiled dragon I'd had done on my shoulder one year in Sturgis (yeah, that was a Flash piece I picked out on the spur of the moment that I'd grown tired of and wanted customized in some way, heh.)
For years, the boyfriend has had a flash-art cobra that covers the upper half of one arm and he'd grabbed up a USMC Devil Dog on his other arm on a different year in Sturgis (the things people think are smart to do during Bike Week, I tell ya, heh)...he wanted to the cover the dog with something more stylized, so Kevin mirrored the general shape, size, and theme of the cobra but turned it into the biomechanical....thing....there's not really a better way to describe it than that...that's he got now. It's nice how visually balanced it ended up being.
