I feel like I've made a little progress

I over heard my Gramma and Mom talking about Shelbo. I had told my Mom about what happened with Shelbo coming up to St. Jo and neither of them believe what Shelbo's told me. I was angry about it at first, but then a little voice in my mind said "Who cares what they think?"

And I agreed. Do they spend their time talking to Shelbo? No. I do. And if Shelbo is lying to me about something, well, it's not like I never lied. And neither have they!

For some reason that feels good. Maybe it's just that growing more independent thing. I dunno.
