I am way too invested in shipping...
In both ATLA and LOK. But here's something I hope will happen in LOK:
Korra and Bolin will be the ones to hook it up. I'm dead serious. And not because I want people to be pissed off, but I think serious girl/goofy boy is a romance that often get's overlooked.
Mako should be Korra's Sassy Gay Friend. He's got the Sassy Scarf for crying out loud!
Also, I don't think Bryke suck at writing romance. I liked the canon ships in ATLA. I really did. They were cute and compatible. That's all I want in a romance.
However I will still slash the hell out of LOK. That's just how I roll.
