Merriam's Comic ideas!
I will have the other half of my inspiration list up later. BUT FIRST!
Every now and then I attempt to make a page of sketches for each story idea I have. I actually managed to do that for once so
KEEPIN' IT SURREAL! The one I've been working on for over five years now! I swear I'll have this story finished someday.
It's hard to describe your own stories, but I'll try. KitS (as I like to call it) is about a group of rebels who are trying to overthrow a corrupt government by using the current rulers sister as a bargaining chip. There's a lot of gay in this story. Like, a lot lot.
Fun fact about this story is that most of the main characters started out as Jak and Daxter OC's. Yes, I know, I was in middle school. However, these kids stuck around in my brain meat and as I grew they grew until they were the incarnations they are today.
WE'RE SMALL TOWN BLUES AND WE CAN'T BE BEAT, AND WE DON'T WEAR SHOES CUZ WE GOT TOUGH FEET!
This is an idea that exists in my mind as the episodic/daily gag strip adventures of three friends. I've played with ideas of them being in the land of the dead, living close to the American/Mexican border, and other such silly ideas like that. This idea also involves making fun of Hipsters because I like to do that. XD
Pokopo, that's what I call these telepathic alien bears with no gender. Yes.
To be honest the story has lost itself. I have no idea what is going on as much as I have scenes in my head for this story.
This story is interesting because 1) There are more straight people than usual and 2) I have an idea for how it ends, but I have no idea how it starts or what happens in the middle.
It's mostly about examining sex and sexual ideals.
Again, I have scense in my head for this idea, but no actual story. I want to do this thing where the journey of Chris and Will reflects the journey of Katt Redd and May.
Katt Redd and May are like the Hansons in a lot of ways.
I have literally done nothing with this idea in years. I can't even remember who was in it and what it was about. Well, it was about religion and God being inside this atheist boy (for the lulz), but that's about as far as I got with it.
This is a more recent idea. It's another episodic/daily gag idea. With sex and delivering stuff.
This takes place in the same universe as Earf Delivery. It's about the adventures of me and my girlfriend if we were puppets.
Zipper Girl is something I very slowly came up with over the course of this last year. I've always wanted to have a story with a horribly polluted world and last year I was struck with the impulse to draw a women with a zipper going down her torso. After a healthy does of this I came up with Zipper Girl. I still need to develope this world, but it's coming easy to me.
