The worst lines in A:TLA? I'll admit that's a really hard question to answer since the series had such great writing. All the lines that were supposed to be awkward and stupid are supposed to be awkward and stupid. Especially considering how most of the protagonists are in their early to mid teens.
Also, this is probably just me, but I don't get why everyone hates on the "I don't hate you" Maiko scene so much. I thought it was really cute and fitting for both the characters. Maiko was refreshing to me simply for the fact that there was no "Will they/Won't they" tension and they showed no hesitation for being together romantically. It's not like it came completely out of left field either, they knew each as children and probably interacted with fair frequency since she was friends with Azula.
Fandom is weird.
