I met a fascinating man yesterday after I left Ueno Park where I had been enjoying the afternoon working on my new hobby. We were in line at a coffee house I enjoy in that area and began chatting over mundane things as we waited and ended up sitting together to further the conversation.
He has his own interesting take on many things and it was enjoyable to debate some topics and expand on others that we agreed on. What I found most fascinating about him was how he gave off an arrogant and badass vibe but once we started talking more he confessed to having two people that were important to him that he did everything he could for even though they often drove him insane or did stupid things. I had deep respect for him and saw a bit of myself in that statement.
I hope everyone else had a pleasant weekend and made memories to last.
I have decided we only live once and it's best to make the most of that time we're given. I felt there was an attraction between us and it turned out I was right and my invitation for him to come home with me was well-received.
Will I see him again? I couldn't say and I won't go into seclusion if I don't either. It was a wonderful time with him but sometimes the most memorable times are when you can only enjoy it once.
