(no subject)
You guys, I got a cat last weekend. I've named him Rory and he's super adorable oh my god. I stayed home to take him to the vet today, thinking he would get vaccines and that I'd have to watch him. It turns out he doesn't really need the ones I thought he would need, but I do have to take him him in again on New Years Eve. That'll be fun. I hope we get out of work early enough that day so I don't have to worry about taking time off!

I love me some Layton. After finishing the third game, I was really big on trying to play him somewhere -- until I saw nearly every game I was interested in already had a Layton lulz. So! I still haven't apped him anywhere, but I'm still interested in playing him. My only worry is that I'm not smart enough to play him.

I played as him a couple of times, and I enjoyed it. I have no clue how IC I was, though, unfortunately. ): After the most recent book I was really excited about playing him, and I actually still really like the idea of playing as him. I think he's an interesting character, and I like how the fourth book made him ever so slightly unhinged. I'd really love to play that out.

I don't even know, man. He just seems like a ton of fun. After the newest season, though, it kind of killed my drive to play him, but I still like him as a character. I haven't completely finished watching the season -- just a few episodes left till the finale for me -- but I think if I ever played him somewhere, it'd be from after season two, probably. Even if I did have my issues with how season 2 ended, as well.

I've had a lot of false starts with writing his app. I think if I ever just got into it I'd be able to do it, and I feel like I could probably get the hang of his voice if I ever just tried.

Avatar: The Last Airbender

I marathoned ATLA while I was writing NaNo -- that is to say, I would set myself a word goal, and upon meeting it, I would allow myself to watch X amount of Avatar eps. I'm horribly late to the bandwagon on this one, but I still really loved the series. I ended up liking Aang a lot more than I expected, too, and I feel like I could probably get the hang of his voice.

Surprisingly, a lot more games have openings for Aangs than I had expected. He seems like he'd be fun to play in most settings. I think I had decided to take him from before the end of Book 2, when Team Avatar was splitting up in Ba Sing Se, or possibly the middle of Book 3, before the eclipse.
